Unleashed Mind

 I wouldn't consider Henry Darger to be mentally ill but to say that he is "different" that is definitely a true fact. He wasn't anywhere near being a normal person. The people around him treated him so poorly. Sending him off to an insane asylum where it's implied that he suffered most of his abuse there. He father came with an aunt for him to be adopted but Henry was at work and his father never came back. It ended up in Henry never being adopted. As Henry grew older he had only one friend. He wasn't very active in the world. He spent most of his time in own fantasy world that he created in his room. Henry was truly a creative man and his artwork should be appreciated. Anyone that is able to write a 15,000 page book and paint over 10,000 pages on both sides is definitely creative and truly talented.
